Caries on molars of 6 years

Even if prevention methods have improved and multiplied, decay (caries disease) in the molar of six years are quite common. This feature is explained by the 6-year molar to be confused with a milk tooth, because it appears without a tooth substitute (appears behind the baby teeth), during the eruption of permanent teeth did not start. The noise usually occurs without symptoms, meaning that does not hurt, the gums are not inflamed, and parents do not notice because it appears further back on the dental arch.

Frequency of tooth decay in children has decreased more in developed countries, many factors are involved in this: diet, administration of fluoride tablets, fluoride toothpastes use, monitor the children in terms of dental and, very importantly, the application of fluoridated solutions in the dental clinic.

One of the most affordable and effective methods of preventing caries in 6-year molar is DIMPLE SEALING AND DENTAL GROOVES. This simple method is achieved in practice by applying a fluid material dimple grooves and teeth to be sealed.

A special material is either applied, or, often, photopolymerized.

It is very important to bring children to regular dental check up, starting at early age for early detection of diseases of dental and maxillary level.
